“I admit, it’s not great timing for a bankruptcy,” said Donald Trump. “But I owe it to my company to do what’s right. And let me remind you it’s the company going through this, not me personally.”
This is the Republican candidates 5th bankruptcy in 30 years as CEO of The Trump Organization.
“I’m still worth ten billion dollars,” said Trump. “And remember, debt is an asset. I’m an expert at dept and America is severely in debt, so who better to fix the problem than someone who has dealt with debt for forty years.
“But really, it’s not a big deal and has nothing to do with my campaign. My opponents might try to make a big deal out of it but at the end of the day they know they are so far behind this is all they can do. But I admit it is bad timing but who cares if I file bankruptcy today or next year or in six years? There’s no difference. Any business man knows that. You have these career politicians that should have filed for bankruptcy thousands of times.”
Trump blames his time spent on the campaign trail for the need to file for bankruptcy. His opponents point to his incompetence as a leader and fraudulent acts as to why he once again had to restructure debt for his company.
While Trump claims to be worth $10 billion, Forbes billionaire list ranked him at $4.5 billion and dropping quickly. His wealth will still be enormous, but his investors and followers continue to lose their shirts following Trump’s delusional vision.
His children will be overseeing the bankruptcy case as Trump continues his Presidential campaign. As the attacks begin to grow and attach to Trump, his image of being a con man is becoming clear to even the most die-hard Trump fans.
The Trump Organization will come out of the bankruptcy protection unscathed for the most part, but the American people will suffer if Ted Cruz is elected President of the United States of America, with one nation under God and liberty and justice for more God… Oh God.
