In a secret survey done by The Beltway Insider on how presidential candidates secure Superdelegates, it calculated it costs around $250,000 to gain a single one.

The highest costs are in California and New York where they can fetch over a million dollars. The lowest cost is usually in the South where a Superdelegate in Mississippi can be as low as $20,000.

However, not all the money is in cash or physical currency. It can be in promises, time, and effort that economist convert to the dollar equivalent or total economic cost for the Superdelegate.

With nearly 448 total Superdelegates, it comes to a total of $112,000,000.
