The former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin told a group of Trump supporters that “America doesn’t need a Prince, this isn’t England. What we need is Trump as President of the United States.”
The comment comes in light of the legendary musician Prince died at his studio in Minnesota.
The crowd was taken back by the comment, but she continued to ramble. “The only Prince of America is finally dead and we don’t have to take orders from the Queen either. We are a free country, free from tyranny, and free from Saudi Arabia.
“Let Americans play music. Support American musicians like the Rolling Stones and the Beatles.”
Palin thought the artist known as Prince was a Saudi Prince who happened to play music. This lead to the controversial bill that would let American citizens sue Saudi Arabia over responsibility for the 9/11 attacks.
“We need to get rid of all the Princes in the country. Kick their asses out of our country,” said Palin. “We don’t do Royalty, we work hard and hunt like Patriots.”
