Just a day after ESPN baseball analyst Curt Schilling was fired for an inappropriate meme about transgender people; Donald Trump hired him as a political, social advisor. “He speaks his mind,” said Trump.
“He was fired from ESPN for sharing a legitimate opinion? This is that politically correct nonsense that is ruining America,” said Trump. “I may not agree with all of his remarks but that is what you want in an advisor. I already know he can handle pressure like the Red Sox 2004 playoff run. With his help, I will make America great again!”
This was Schilling s third strike for posting inappropriate content to social media.
Schilling said working for Trump was a “huge honor “ and “better than the Nazis at ESPN.”
It is rumored Schillings pay is worth north of $250,000 until November,
