Spotted in a little Italian village where Kobe Bryant has a summer home, Phil Jackson made a trip to discuss the New York Knicks coaching vacancy.
“I want a guy that knows the triangle, a guy that has lived it, breathed it, and there are only two men who know it extensively, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. With MJ owning a NBA team, Kobe is the man for the job if he so chooses.”
Kobe has to decide what to do after his playing career and coaching is his only option if he plans to stay in basketball.
The former Los Angeles Laker won 5 championships and retired last week.
No decision has been made and several other coaches are being discussed.
