Is Ben Affleck The Mystery LA Crime Solver Dressing Like Batman?

shutterstock_126349715A man dressed in a full Batman suit has been sighted stopping crime throughout L.A., and people suspect it is none other than acclaimed director and actor Ben Affleck. Reports of this behavior have been surfacing ever since the Batman Vs Superman movie came out.

Adam Harlow, the first person to see this caped crusader he claimed was Affleck, told local news outlets he witnessed the event at an Arby’s on Sunset Boulevard.

“I’m just standing there trying to get my Loaded Italian, when all of a sudden this guy with a gun walks up to the counter and demands the worker empty the register. We were all terrified. Next thing I know, Batman is here and he punches the guy square in the nose. The gun flies out of his hands and he runs out of there. I got one good look at Batman and I swear on my life, under that mask was unmistakably Affleck.”

At every crime scene thwarted, Batman would say something to the effect that he really could be a good Batman, and we were all wrong for doubting him. While citizens of L.A. greatly appreciate his efforts to keep them safe, many also feel he is acting outlandishly.

“If it really is Ben Affleck, and not just some crazy vigilante, then I feel sorry for him,” says Judy Adams. “He wants to help people but for the wrong reasons, and in the wrong way. Ben could give to charity. Dressing up like a little kid and stopping a couple crimes isn’t enough, especially when he’s just doing it because his movie got mixed reviews.”

When TMZ asked whether he had anything to do with these acts of altruism, Affleck unequivocally denied it.

“Guys, I am a grown man. I have much better things to do with my time than run around playing Batman. The studio is already letting me direct and star in a standalone Batman film so there is not much free time.

“Go ask Matt Damon, I hear he’s been bored.”
