Milwaukee, WI – Former Republican candidate Ben Carson was denied access to the parties Town Hall after security deemed him a threat.
Carson was invited by the GOP to help conduct interviews and raise money from the attendees, but with ticket in hand, he was denied access.
“They wouldn’t let me in,” said Carson. “I don’t know if it’s because I’m black or a CNN thing. Maybe Ted Cruz had my name on a list.”
He was then questioned on Ted Cruz’s list to which the former doctor replied, “Ted carrys around a list of people he doesn’t like or who he feels did him wrong and pledges to exact revenge. He’s like a snake in the grass, you never know when he’ll strike. And I’m the one who should be upset with him.”
Security at the event was tight because of anti-Trump groups and with so few black Republicans, they assumed the ticket was fake or stolen. A Trump advisor finally escorted Carson from the entrance to the back. By then it was 9pm and Carson fell asleep in a chair and could not be woken up.
To be fair, not many people can stay awake through a John Kasich story.
