At a secluded Marriott Hotel outside of Reno, Nevada, Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders secured an additional 728 Super Delegates.
The shocking news came from the Sanders camp, indicating that the nomination is now in a dead even race. With Clinton’s 1,654 total delegates to Sanders 1,599. The 55 delegate difference puts them in a sprint to the finish with seven states up for grabs in the next two weeks.
Sanders was able to get 70 Super Delegates from Clinton and another 658 from undecided super voters. Steve Smith, a Super Delegate voter, said,” I will give my six delegates to Sanders. He’s the man for me. It just seems like the right thing for the party.”
The Vermont Senator got them in a room at the Desert Ball Room and convinced them he was the man to take on Trump or Cruz and ensure a Democratic President. “I told them I was the right choice and after a quick PowerPoint presentation, they agreed and I gained over 700 Super delegates in one afternoon. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.”
The founder of a Sanders fan website, Brandy Youston, said, “I bet the mainstream media won’t even cover this outstanding achievement. They think they chose Hillary to win before the public even started to vote, but Bernie is showing them all wrong. Feel the Bern!”
Clinton’s campaign is in complete shock and is riddled with anxiety over the Sanders’s campaign gain. A staffer said, “It’s just like Obama in 08’ all over again. We were up and Obama came in and swooped them all away with dirty tactics. We were out dirtied again.
“I don’t know what Sanders told the Super Delegates or promised them, but he must have been very convincing.”
Many of the Republican candidates and Fox News think Hilary Clinton will be in jail by the time the elections come in November. “This FBI thing has not been settled,” said Bill O’Reily. “She committed crimes while state secretary with Benghazi and her e-mails. So she’ll be in jail anyways. I have a feeling Trump will dismantle Sanders like a bully on the school yard.”
