After careful consideration, President Barack Obama had decided to go with America’s most popular and watched judge as his Supreme Court nomination. Judge Judy has been chosen to replace the recently deceased Antonin Scalia to America’s highest court.
“She’s very fast at coming to a decision,” said Obama. “I’ve seen her do fifty cases in one taping. She’s a judging machine. And it gets hot under those TV lights.”
Politicians on both sides question his judgment with her nomination since many people don’t know her last name. “Listen, she’s been a TV judge since 1996. That is twenty years of experience, folks,” said Obama. “We live in the television era. TV influences and changes our minds on a daily basis.”
“If TV news pundits can judge me, why can’t a TV judge be on the Supreme Court?”
No word on if Republican will allow for a Supreme Court Judge vote while Democrats begin to distance themselves from the president on this nomination.
Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders asked, “Who the Hell is Judge Judy? Is she a real judge?
“I’ve never heard of her, I don’t own a television set.”
She’ll need to take a dramatic pay cut from $47 million to $255,000 per year, but she can still write and sell books.
