The Chinese government has funneled $350 million into a Super PAC with the mission of attacking and destroying Donald Trump’s presidential bid.

Called the ‘Happy Go Luck PAC,’ the $350 million will be used to defeat Trump and lobby for several new trade agreements.

After the Supreme Court ruled that money is free speech, the People’s Republic of China has been actively involved in American politics. First, the Chinese wish to protect their investment in US bonds, and secondly, they want a smooth transition between their government and the next President of the United States.

The Chinese government has not admitted to funneling money into US politics, but the BBC has been investigating a Chinese initiative to actively influence foreign governments. While most of the influence have been targeted towards African countries, the investigation uncovered a secret fund for the sole purpose of influencing American politics.

Trump responded to the BBC report by saying, “Of course the Chinese don’t want me to be President. They know I’ll be out dealing them every step of the way. I know these people very well, some are great friends, but others only want to take advantage of the American people and I’m sick of it.

“Under Obama they have won time and time again, it’s disgraceful, but what else do you expect from a loser. With me, they know they are dealing with a winner. Party time is over for the Chinese. America is about to win again and become greater than the Great Wall of China.

“If the Chinese want a war, they got it, bring everything you got because you’re going to need it. And I’ve got to tell you, I will win cause I’m a winner. Three hundred million dollars against me isn’t going to do anything. They are wasting their money just like Jeb wasted twenty million in New Hampshire attacking me and only got four votes for himself.”

A US investigation is underway to study the influx of Chinese money into American politics and to measure the impact of the money if any. It is most likely some politicians are beneficiaries of the money while others have their careers suffer.

While foreign money in American politics is nothing new, the Chinese are willing and able to spend unimaginable amounts of money to achieve their political goals. Experts say their US political fund has grown from $5 million in 2001 to $350 million in the current fiscal year. At this pace, the experts worry the Chinese could be spending a billion dollars a year by the 2020 election cycle.
