Following the Democratic Debate on PBS, former President Bill Clinton slapped Bernie Sanders on the butt from behind thinking it was his wife, Hillary. “I forgot she was wearing yellow,” said Bill.
It caught Bernie by surprise, but they shook hands after the incident. Clinton, as sly as ever, pretended nothing happened and everything was great. However, Chris Matthews saw the incident and asked him about it.
“The back of their hair looks the same and their pants suits are nearly identical,” said Bill. “My bad.”
Mathews agreed how Bill could have made the mistake.
“Let’s be honest, it’s not my first time making that mistake,” said Bill. “And I gotta tell you, I don’t think Bernie minded too much. I can tell when they like it.”
