With Sarah Palin endorsing Donald Trump to be President of the United States, it could be a test to see how the polls react. If it causes a big bump, it could make the case for the former Alaskan governor to be Trump’s running mate.
“I love her,” said Trump. “She speaks her mind and let me tell you, what a great mind she has. It moves so fast that her mouth can’t keep up.”
Palin ran with Republican John McCain in 2008 but lost to Barack Obama. Many on the political right blamed her for the defeat, but others said she was the only thing that gave the campaign a chance.
“I’d love to have the first woman Vice President,” said Trump. “It would be good for a woman to experience being a vice president first, and then in a decade or two, a woman could be ready to be President.”
When questioned if he would choose Palin to be his running mate he replied, “I wouldn’t say yes at this time, but I wouldn’t say no either. It depends on the polls and when I get the Republican nomination. But who better? I can’t think of single person.”
Palin To The Rescue
Palin seemed to think she had already been asked to be the Republican Vice President no matter who gets the Republican Presidential nomination.
“The GOP wants me to be the running mate, they already told me,” Palin told the Washington Post. “I told them I’d have to think about it because I have a lot on my plate. They know they need me. Who else can fix the mess Obama has made?”
A Trump-Palin ticket might be some people’s worst nightmare but to others, it is the Republican dream team.
Can America be great again without a Palin at the helm?
