Ronda Rousey stopped a bank robbery this afternoon in Riverside, California. The UFC fighter was on the way to her parents house for Thanksgiving when she stopped by a Chase Bank to make a deposit when three armed robbers in black ski masks stormed inside.
According to a witness the first robber yelled, “This is a stick-up! Everyone on the floor!” The second robber revealed a shotgun and pointed at the bank teller telling her not to trip the alarm. “I’ll blow your fucking head off if you make any sudden movements.”
The third robber began filling a black trash bag with stacks of cash with help from a terrified looking bank manager.
Rousey had cautiously observed the situation and planned a course of action from behind the deposit slip table.
The police report stated Ronda Rousey ‘super kicked’ the robber with the shotgun, setting off the gun which hit the fire sprinkler causing water to rain down on the bank. The bank manager took the gun and pointed it at the robber. Ronda then punched out the first robber and was attacked from behind from the third robber. She struggled to get free and elbowed him in the gut. He then ran for the door when an 83-year-old lady tripped the robber with her cane.
The police showed up minutes later and the three robbers were arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and attempted murder.
Rousey then bought everyone Pinkberry frozen yogurt from the store next door.
This is the second incident since she lost her UFC Championship belt where she thwarted a crime. Last week she beat up a group of muggers in downtown Los Angeles parking lot. After her UFC is over, a superhero gig could be right up her alley.
We are told Ronda made it to her parents house and is preparing for a day of eating and football tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day.
